Glenny Wood is a fairly small site with a decent hut (main room, kitchen, two side rooms), reasonable toilets, a play area and a multi-level site with various glades and flat bits. It can be more than a bit damp, and there are possible noise issues, so it’s generally better for 24hrs.

Lymes Disease has been found in the local tick population, and anti-tick measures are a must.

Directions

• Head to Clapton-in-Gordano
• Turn onto Clevedon Lane
• At the Black Horse pub, take the left turn
• Keep going under the motorway and beyond until you reach the car park. Be aware that this is a 20mph tops road and the locals will complain if you are loud or fast!

You will need to make sure that you bring the following:

The kitchen has a fridge, a gas cooker and oven, a tea urn and a freezer down in the toilet block.

There is no refuse collection on site – rubbish has to be taken away at the end of the stay.

Too small for a 36 hour, but great for a 24 hour. The hut has a kitchen, 1 large room and 2 small rooms that can be used for monster kit.
