General information

The Instant Response Service is based at Wing Keep (in the south-east of the Griffinwold). All patrollees, whether Defenders or not, are offered accomodation within the Keep. Those who choose not to take up the offer are strongly encouraged stay near a FRAN or DAWN point and to keep the Defenders informed of their location so they can be included in any mission.

Due to the nature of the campaign, missions will rarely have advanced briefs and will not necessarily take place a week apart in game. Please bear this in mind if you intend to travel or carry out other activities between games.

There will be no formal downtime system this year. We do not need to be informed of any training so long as the skills are unrestricted (either in general or within your guild) although we may periodically request updated versions of characters’ stats sheets.

Unless otherwise stated, characters do not have access to FRAN or DAWN transport between games and, even if not done during time-in, you should assume any FRAN or DAWN staffs are collected by the Defenders at the end of any mission. It does not cost any character points to be attuned to the FRAN or DAWN networks, nor to be able to activate the transports or travel via them. Transportation via a network you are attuned to requires a minute rite using a fixed point and prepared staff/stick – other restrictions may become apparent in-game.

NPCs are available for conversations between games but be aware their time (and ours as the GMs responsible) is limited.

All rooms provided at Wing Keep are doubles and room assignments are given by Cpl Sulimë. No mixed gender rooms but other than that, as GMs we’ll leave it to you to decide who, if anyone, you’re sharing with. Any non-Defender who objected to their room assignment, or to sharing in general, would be re-assigned though perhaps not without a disapproving look.
