Kingdom religions are normally based on the Nine Paths or the Principle of Nature, but there are many variations.
The relationship between gods and Paths is not officially defined and characters have their own interpretations of how it works. Gods and Paths can grant power to mortals directly. Some gods also have aspects related to magic, and there are various god-like miraculous creatures including avatars, demigods and other strange beings.
The following religions have been created by players. If you would like to play a character who is a follower of one of these religions, please speak to the creator. Please note that if basing a religion on a real-world religion you will be expected to follow the Code of Conduct and avoid causing real-world offence.
The gods of the Kingdom of Bader are not directly associated with Principles or Paths (although some gods often draw followers from certain paths, e.g. Champion’s followers are commonly Justice-aligned). Each god watches over certain aspects of the world, with more powerful gods taking on a ‘major domain’ with which they are commonly associated.
The pantheon of the Empire of Cathay is large and varied, and while they have aspects that are similar to those of the standard alignments their view of them is markedly different to the Kingdom’s view. The gods primarily worshipped by Cathayan characters in the patrol system are Men Shen (King of Passage/god of Earth and Balance, particularly between Life and Death). and the Lords of War Liu Pei (Death), Chen Pei (Might). and Kuan Ti (Order).
The Chapel is an eclectic Justice denomination. Followers ultimately worship the Path of Justice, but are bound to worship justice-like elements wherever they are found, even in the actions of a being following a different Path. Many followers choose a specific god to focus their faith through, but they promise to worship all gods of Justice.
Lead by Pope Biscuit, this is the ‘acceptable’ face of Chaos.
Followers of Valkyrie, described as the soldier’s angel, are dedicated to putting all they have into all they do and never giving up once they set their mind to something, drawing strength from her faith in them as much as she draws it from theirs in her. Her followers are often warriors, and often soldiers of one sort or another, though there are many others who are inspired by her courage, her will, or her sheer bloody-minded determination to succeed, and the similar values she evokes in her faithful.
The gods of the city-state of Waygate unite miraculous alignments (each an in-between of two ‘standard’ alignments) with magical schools – the ten gods are Mercy, Joy, Wisdom, Suffering, Despair, Strife, Vengeance, Judgement and Rest.
Followers of the Worldbuilders believe that there are many Worlds out there, each following their own set of rules. This World was built and continues to be overseen by the great god Crookshanks, he who writes the Book of Truth. His followers tend to be priests or lay-followers of Justice quietly determined to follow the core truths of living life to the full and being Big Damned Heroes.

Vkandis, the Sun, embodies Light and Fire, and Life, Justice or Order. His wife Lilinara, the Moon, embodies Light and Water, and Life, Freedom or sometimes Chaos.
A family of seven gods, currently divided into five who protect and guard the lighter aspects of reality and two who have fallen to Necromancy and the dark parts of nature.
This pantheon is one that belongs to a small cluster of Druid groves that exist on both sides of the border around Arboria. It has no spoken name or written title, nor official teachings – relying much on the oral tradition. The name “Nature’s Accordance” is one thought up on the spot the first time someone in the Barony asked about it.
Followers of Nature’s Accordance follow loose teachings that require members to live in harmony with nature and not despoil the land.
